Bought this to inspect wiring insulation on a few renovation sites. It’s simple, durable, and spot-on with its readings. Great middle-ground option if you don’t need all the bells and whistles of the 1555 series.

Great for on-site troubleshooting
This tester has become part of our regular maintenance toolkit. Light enough to carry around, fast readings, and clear display. The only thing I’d improve is the backlight - it could be brighter in dark panels.
